Meghan loves to help people move with confidence, build resilience, and get back to doing the things they love. She has worked as a physiotherapist in a variety of settings - including sports clinics, hospitals, lower back pain management, and chronic pain management- and brings that breadth of experience into every assessment she does. The time she spent working in chronic pain management was especially formative: working with patients who had often already tried multiple bouts of treatment with limited or no improvement taught Meghan to keep an open and curious mind, to always do a thorough assessment, and to consider the whole person. Her goal is always to empower her patients; to provide clarity, reassurance, and a clear path forward.
Meghan has multiple certifications in the assessment and treatment of neck and lower back pain; as well as in the prevention and management of running injuries. With her own history of frustrating running injuries, she is especially passionate about working with runners and active individuals. Another area where she has pursued continuing education is in non-internal approaches to treating pelvic health issues. As a former yoga teacher, she often incorporates therapeutic yoga into her treatment plans.
Meghan believes strongly that everyone deserves to reap the benefits of an active life, including those with persistent pain and chronic conditions; and she is more than happy to work with those individuals who aren’t sure if movement and exercise is safe for them, or who aren’t sure where to start.
In her spare time, Meghan likes to play tennis, run, cross country ski, and go on long walks with her dog.
